This call is aimed at filling one full-time faculty position for the School of Engineering at Catholic University of the North (Chile) in the field of Industrial Engineering.

The academicposition duties:
•Scientific research with indexed publication results
•Undergraduate and graduate teaching
•Academic management activities related to teaching and research

Selection Criteria:
•PhD degree (essential), area of specialization in Management and Operations Research,Operational Excellence, or Supply Chain Management and Logistics
•Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering, or equivalent granted from an accredited program and university and obtained in a regular program with full time dedication
•Indexed publications ISI (JCR) and SCOPUS (SJR) in the last five years.
•Experience of at least five years in undergraduate and graduate teaching
•Desirable experience in international research teams
•Proficiency in the Spanish language (applicants not fluent in Spanish should show willingness to acquire enough ability to be able to teach in one year).
•Advanced level of the English language

Availability is required no later than July 1, 2018. Based on the submitted information, a pre-selection will be carried out. Preselected applicants will be invited to an interview by the Academic Committee, which is the final responsible for the hiring decision.
